Files Preferences

The Files preference pane allows you to configure file behavior for MultiMarkdown Composer.

• Enable macOS Auto Save -- Enable the macOS automatic file save feature.

• Default file extension -- Change the file extension used for new documents.

• Suggest filenames for untitled documents -- When saving a new document, use the title metadata (if present), or first line of the text to propose a default filename, instead of "Untitled".

• *Sync macOS and MMD tags -- If tags metadata exists, keep it in sync with macOS file tags. This sync is performed when a document is first opened.

• File line endings -- choose which line ending type to use when saving files.
