Is it possible to make MMD Composer open every document in the last-used window size & position?

I resize and reposition the window (to upper left corner [0,0], full length, about two-thirds width), close the document and the app, and when I open a new document the next day, the window reverts to its former position dead center and smaller.

Yes -- it does this already. It saves this on a per-document basis so that when you reopen a document it remembers where you had it last.

If you're specifically to the "Untitled" document, then close it (without saving) after you make your adjustment the first time.

Are you changing the connected monitors between app launches?

If you're having trouble, you could try resetting the preferences -- defaults delete com.multimarkdown.composer4.mac in the terminal.
