Working through http://support.multimarkdown.com/kb/composer-v4/custom-key-bindings... and would like to know the meaning of the setMark: action.
Does it select text?

It sets a point in the text to return to later in the command, sort of a bookmark.
But that is one of the macOS actions, not one of mine. You're better off searching Apple's documentation or Google in general for actions in that list. I simply allow them as options.
The first list are commands that I implemented in Composer specifically. Most of them are fairly self-explanatory, but a few aren't (when I wrote the code I wasn't expecting for any of them to be public facing). Over time I may rename some of the functions to be more intuitively named.
