Live theme editing…?
So stoked work on MMDC is continuing… and I'm super excited to (hopefully) be able to give you some $$ for all the work!
Anyway, do you have plans to enable live theme editing? I'm a serial theme tinkerer and it would be nice to have this functionality. Barring that, do you have any suggestions on a way I can get live editing to work? Maybe another app or website? With MMDC3 I got it working somehow, but MMDC4's themes are obviously quite different.

What do you mean by live theme editing?

To see the theme in MMDC update as the .theme is being edited/saved…
So you could be editing the active theme in MMDC with TextMate or whatever, and you could change
"backgroundColor" : "1F1F1F",
to"backgroundColor" : "FFFFFF",
then save the file and see the bkgnd of the document in MMDC turn white.3 Posted by scott on 18 Aug, 2017 04:10 PM
Oh yeah… I read in an earlier post about controlling pairs where you mention you can target different pairs individually, but when I looked at the solarized theme there wasn't anything extra in there.
So if you have the time, I would love to know how to individually control the params of the following elements (if it's possible):
Maybe I'm an edge case, but I really loved the control in MMDC3 themes, lol.

I don't recall adding that feature to MMD 3, and don't see code that
would do it. If it worked in some way, it was probably the result of a
bug/clumsy process -- The way themes are handled in v4 are smoother.
I'm not sure I'll (intentionally) add this -- all you have to do is
reapply the theme to see your changes.
But "never say never" and all that..

It's all in the solarized themes if you look at them. I don't do
anything in the default themes that you can't do.
There will be more documentation on themes coming -- focusing on bug
fixes first.
There are only one or two very small things that can't be done in v4
that could be done in v3. And the v4 themes allow you to more easily
control things in a consistent manner.

Son of a gun. I was on b14, thought I was on the most recent version. Didn't know 'till just now that Sparkle was busted with MMDC. I see the extra goodness in solarized now. Thx!

Ok -- I relented and wrote up a guide to v4 themes.

lol. Nice. Had a bunch of fun with it this AM. Having the new
solarized.theme
was super helpful. The new documentation is even more helpful. Thanks again for the awesome app!
PS-I will officially throw my +1 in for specific link styling ;)

FYI -- I'm thinking that I will hold a contest soon. Anyone who desires
can submit themes (and preview CSS files). If I decide to include them
in the app for all users, then I'll give the submitter a token code for
Composer.
I need to work out the details and logistics, so nothing binding yet.
But keep it in mind!
