Blank windows on opening existing .mmd files

iMac 7,1 6GB RAM OS X 10.11.6 MMC 4.0b9

Opening existing .mmd files results in a small blank window with the correct filename in the title bar. These files open and display correctly with MMC 3.

   What happens when you make the window bigger and toggle of Auto Zoom?

   Fletcher,

   I have several versions of MMC in the Applications folder, named:

   MultiMarkdown Composer 4beta
   MultiMarkdown Composer Pro (Beta)
   MultiMarkdown Composer

   The two earlier ones co-existed happily. Could the 4 beta be picking up
   one of the other preferences?

   No -- different bundle identifier, so different preferences.

   Hi, I have the same issue, just get blank editor and can't enter text. Happens on both opening an existing file and creating a new one.

   So far, it seems that the reports of issues opening windows are happening on 10.11.... I don't have a 10.11 machine lying around, so troubleshooting is going to be tricky....

    Unfortunately, b13 crashes on trying to open an mmd file (see "Beta doesn't always update with Sparkle?" thread).
