Bold/Italic shifting selections etc
So I'm seeing a couple oddities. The first may be by design, but seems odd. The second is a bug. I've attached images. Should be self explanatory.
-
After applying italic/bold, the selection area shifts and the first markup is deselected. The attached images show the shifting selection area. (two images attached, "bold italic" and "emboldened")
-
Depending on where the bold or italic is applied, you get different results. Basically the last line (or if there's only one line) is getting messed up (one image, "is it just the last line?")
I'm also including an image of the whole test document.

Adjusting the selection range after applying bold/italic has not been
finished yet, so this behavior is not unexpected for now.

Sounds good.
I just noticed something else though:
I would expect hitting ⌘b or ⌘i without a selection would add the markdown and put the caret in between. Pretty sure this is how it worked in MMDC. Anyway, in b22 it doesn't do anything.
I assume this has to do with bold/italic being unfinished after reading your comment.

Correct -- check b24 -- bold/italic is "finished" (Nothing is ever finished....)
