Split page
Very often I need to read the text at the top of document, while I'm writing at the bottom of document, so I have to switch up and down every minute: can you improve MMDC with a simple "split" command to divide the same page in two screens indipendent from each other?

I'll consider it for a future version, but doing it properly is actually
not simple.

Not yet. It won't be any time soon.

I realized that I forgot to reply to this thread when adding a new feature. While I didn't add the split view function, you can do the same thing with the "New View into File" command -- you effectively have two windows into the same document, so you can stack them vertically or horizontally to simulate the split view idea.
