Improve "non-sandboxed install" breadcrumbs
I just installed the non-sandboxed 2.5.3. The process was successful in the end, but the work to figure out how was unreasonable. It would be a big help if one or more of the following were done:
- Add a link to the support page to Readme.md.
- Or better, just copy the Okay, now what? section into Readme.md.
- On the support page (*Okay, now what?* section), suggest the specific step of running the downloaded MMDC from the Downloads folder.

Sorry you had trouble getting things to work. At this point, it's actually pretty simple:
1. Download the App Store version and run it once.
2. Download the Non-Sandboxed version and run it.
3. There is no step 3.
You are not required to run the non-sandboxed copy of MMDC from any particular folder (e.g. the Downloads folder). It can reside wherever you like.
The directions were a little longer early on, but many months ago the App-Store version started saving a copy of the App Store receipt in your `Library`. The non-sandboxed build looks there, which makes the process less "finicky."
What part of the process gave you trouble? You're actually the first person to email me about difficulty getting the non-sandboxed build to work since early in the year, so I'm curious if there's something unique to your setup that I didn't account for?

The detailed explanation of the shuffle and replace of the two binaries was hard to find.
What I did:
1. I received a pop-up about new version availability.
2. I clicked "Downloads" at the top of that page.
3. I downloaded MMDC 2.5.3 (build 37) [non-sandbox].
4. I opened the Readme.md therein.
Readme.md begins "PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS," so I did. It cautions several times not to move the pre-existing MMDC.app. Now that I've found the answer, I know it means "don't move it until you've launched the new MMDC, so it can transfer the license." But it doesn't say that, so I thought it meant "leave the paid one there forever," and got distracted trying to figure out where I *would* install the new one, so I could leave the old one where it is.
5. Much googling follows.
6. Go to App Store to see if it wants to update my MMDC. Nope.
7. Eventually, I work back to the MMDC Support page.
8. Search for "install 2.5.3" was no help.
9. Search for "how do I install new non-sandboxed version".
10. Find "How to run a 'Non-sandboxed' copy".
11. Figure out from there that the old, paid version only needs to remain in /Applications/ long enough to run the non-sandbox version one time.
So I launched the new one from Downloads/, once, then dragged it to /Applications. When asked, I say to replace the old one. And then I confirmed that I now, successfully, run 2.5.3.

There's your problem.... You actually read the directions. :)
I'll go back through them and clean them up.
