Marked, MMD Composer
Having lots of fun using MMD, in Scrivener, and outputting PDFs, via LaTex. Purchased Marked, which is terrific at what it does, but doesn't seem to support images at all — have I understood that correctly?
Now, considering purchasing MMD Composer. Reading through, it claims to work with Marked — even though it includes its own previewer — is that right?
Interestingly, the screen shot used to discuss the use of Marked with MMD Composer incorporates a brief discussion about images, featuring a Nautilus Star. Does this mean that images will now preview in Marked…when used with MMD Composer?
Would appreciate if you could clear up my confusion!!
Regards and thanks for the great work that has gone into MMD and Marked.

John,
Thanks for your interest in MultiMarkdown Composer, and thank you for writing.
Marked is a great app, but you do realize I have nothing to do with it, right? ;) Brett Terpstra created Marked. He incorporated MultiMarkdown (which I wrote), but the app is all his. I've given him some feedback, and I built support for Marked into Composer since it is a useful adjunct for many users. But they are separate applications by two different people.
1) Marked supports images, provided they are done correctly. If you're having problems, definitely check in with Brett. But be sure to consider the possibility of user error first. Marked has been around for a while with lots of people using lots of images. But perhaps there is something peculiar about your setup that's causing trouble.
2) Composer has its own preview, but can also work with Marked.
3) There is a demo version of Composer so that you can see for yourself how it works before purchasing:

Hopefully that will clear things up for you and let you decide if Composer will be a good fit.
