Turn Off Ligatures in MMC 4?

Is there a way to turn off ligatures in MultiMarkdown Composer 4? I use a monospace font that for some reason uses ligatures by default for some letter combinations like "fi" and "fl", and I would like to disable these when working in the app.

If there is not currently a way to do this, please consider my question to also be a feature request.

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    I'll consider this in the future, but my inclination is not to "break" what the user's selected font is designed to do.
