Will buying Pro license work on more than one device

I have both a MacBook Pro and an iMac. I am considering doing the Pro upgrade, but will it only work for one device, meaning I would have to purchase the license twice, once for each machine?

Thank you!

    Stuart,

The license is an App Store license, not one specific to me. So like all others, it works on any machine linked to the specific iTunes account (Apple ID) on which the purchase is made.

I don’t have all of the Apple rules memorized, so their web site can help with specific questions but I have used apps on 3-4 devices without difficulty myself. There may be a limit to the maximum number of devices (5-6??) but they also may have gotten rid of that. It’s never been an issue for me and I’ve always used 2-4 machines at any given time.

Once you make the purchase, you will need to Restore Purchases on other machines so that they recognize that you bought an upgrade. This is done in the same dialog used to make the purchase. The upgrade is automatically recognized whenever you download a new copy from the App Store as well.

Let me know if you have further questions!!
