(which in<br>
Composer-speak refers to converting to RTF via MMD).</p>
<p>You're copying the formatted HTML as Rich Text using Apple's
routines<br>
(built into WebKit). I'm not sure if this only works on apps that
accept HTML based rich text, or on all apps that accept rich
text.</p>
<p>It works, but it's not actually an intended workflow in
Composer. The<br>
results aren't always perfect, and I don't control them.</p>
<p>That said, I don't intend on doing anything that will break
that<br>
behavior, but I don't explicitly support it either.</p>

functionality is useful enough that I'd urge you to reconsider
supporting this workflow, even if you don't explicitly control the
output. Regardless, I'll see what I can work out using Keyboard
Maestro.</p>
