Simplify image markup

Currently it seems that images are wrapped in custom markup. While this is nice in isolation it is non-standard and is not great when posting html in CMSs/Blogs without writing more CSS just for MMDC. Is there a way to disable this and just have MMDC render:

![Alt Text](http://url/to/image.png)

<img alt="Alt Text" src="http://url/to/image.png" />

    This behavior *is* standard for MultiMarkdown.

    If you want to only use Markdown instead of MultiMarkdown, you can
    switch syntax. But then you lose the other great features of
    MultiMarkdown (if you use them).

    You can also fool MMD into thinking an image should not be a figure by
    including a &nbsp; after the image.
