Check Spelling as I type

Hey there, this may be a user problem, but for some reason I find in MMC 2 automatically enables the 'Check Spelling as I Type' option in the 'Edit: Spelling And Grammar" preference. Personally I find red lines underlining every proper noun, spelling erro and acronym enough to drive me up the wall.

For some reason every other app I use, I only have to turn it off once and it stays off, but with MMC 2 it turns on every time I start up the application or even every time I open a document.
