MMD types multiple characters at the same time

Just updated to latest version Version 2.6b1 (38)

on Mavericks

when i type any character, MMD repeats it 4 times eg home --> hhhhoooommmmeeee

the problem appears for a while, then goes away, reappears

I cannot detect any pattern. The problem is only with MMD (when I type in other applications there are no issues). I reproduced the problem with multiple files. Yet I cannot detect any pattern but it is making MMD unusable.

   Luca,

   Can you look in the Console application and see if there's anything related to Composer there that might help me troubleshoot?

   Also, if you can send me a file that demonstrates the problem, that would be helpful.

   I am attaching what I found in console re: composer and one of the files where I had problems (it has been edited since then)

   Please note that in the txt where I had the problems the issue is not visible — that is I removed the duplicated characters
