Permission asking to access BibTeX file
hey all,
great product, i love to use it!
i have one small problem though, the multimarkdown composer keeps asking me every few minutes whether to allow access to the bibtex file linked in my mmd-file. this popup gets annoying after the 3rd time of appearance..
please fix :)
thanks and keep the great work up!

Peter,
Thanks for writing in. Glad you're enjoying Composer, but sorry for the trouble.
That's unusual for Composer to keep asking for permission to access a file after it's been approved. It stores the permission in the preferences so that it can regain access indefinitely.
The dialog that pops up is asking for permission to access a *folder*, not a file. Are you changing the default selection in the dialog? As long as you agree, all you have to is agree to the dialog -- don't change anything.
Send me a copy of your preferences by email, and the path to the bibtex file in question --- I can take a look at what permission has been obtained and try to see what's going on.

hi,
thanks for the quick reply!
yes, it is asking for the permission to access a folder, not file. still, the popup returns as soon as i save my .mdd file.
is there somewhere a preferences file that i should send you or what do you mean by copy of my preferences?

Yes -- the preferences file:

(Update for anyone else looking at this.)
This thread was moved to private email. The problem seems to still exist, and I have been unable to locate a cause. The original author switched to the non-sandboxed download, and all is well. But that doesn't fix the original problem. Thus far I haven't heard from anyone else experiencing this -- if it's happening to you, please let me know.
Thanks,
Fletcher
