I'm using the non-sandboxed version, 2.3.5.
I have a mmd_merge file that pulls together a handful of documents and and (locally referenced) images. MMDC pulls together the mmd files, but I don't see the images in Preview pane. Everything works in Marked.app. Also, if I export HTML from MMDC, loading the single html file in Safari works okay -- it finds the local images.
Rough file org:
index_merge.md
file1.md
file2.md
merged.html
imagesDir
image1
image2
(so all text in one folder and then images in a nested folder.)
I'm wondering why it doesn't work in MMDC preview since other methods work.
Thanks,
Travis

Once you save and reopen the file it will work. Files have to be saved before a relative URL means anything.
The next version will update better when you save without reopening. But for now save/reopen.
Thanks!

I think I opened and closed the merge file a couple of times already. I just quickly tried this again and the images didn't show up. Let me know when I should try a newer version -- not on my critical path that moment (yet). And using Marked in the interim is a reasonable work around for the moment.

If you save and reopen the merged file, it is no different than any other MMD file and images work properly (unless OS X cached a missing copy of the image and you have to get OS X to recache?) In that case, toggling the preview or relaunching the app will fix it.

Oh, misunderstanding. I interpreted saving/closing/reopening the "merge file" as the file with the list of mmd to include. "MergeD file" is the untitled doc. I'll try that, but I can see that will work.
Thanks,
