Hi, I am using an older version of Scrivener on macOS Sierra because newer versions keep crashing and I am getting the upside down and inverted header issue upon compiling. Is there a workaround for this without having to force a downgrade of my macOS.

Thank you!

Which "newer version" keeps crashing? I have not had trouble on Sierra.

The most recent one, not the beta, I had to downgrade to 2.2 for some reason, and it was stable...still looking into it

    Hmmm...

In v 2.9 on Sierra the headers/footers seem to work properly for me
(other than the fact that footers on web previews no longer seem to work
due to a change in Apple's code that I have not been able to work around.

Can you send me some screenshots so I can see exactly what's going on?

Also, is there a reason you're not using the v3 beta? It's better in
just about every way (except for really long documents due to some
additional testing I run in the beta).

I am using the trial version of 2.2 and am saving up for the full version, I am living on a fixed income. Sorry, I should have told you I was using the trial first.

I can send you the pdf I compiled so you can see the inverted header. The problem is I have a draft due to my editor on January 23 and can't afford the full version till February. I was using OpenOffice but it kept strangely omitting certain necessary Page Styles in the manuscript template so someone told me to switch to Scrivener but now I have an upside down, inverted header...I cannot win...

2.2 is very old -- latest sale version is 2.9. The Sierra header thing
was fixed in version 2.8 or 2.9.

I missed that you had Scrivener in your subject -- that is a different
    program by a different company.

This address/support site is for MultiMarkdown Composer.

Are you writing your document in MultiMarkdown??

If so, MultiMarkdown Composer is **much** cheaper than Scrivener. It
has a different focus, but since I wrote MultiMarkdown the two are very
    tightly integrated.

You can get a demo here:

That is strange, I don't know what made me think Scrivener was supported here, sorry for the confusion. I think I came here because a Google search recognized Scrivener in a post here I looked at your app and it looks good but I'm to sure I have time to learn a new "language" with this deadline, if you have a video tutorial for your app that would be really helpful.
