MMC 2 missing from MAS
I was trying to update the MAS receipt using the procedure outlined, but I find that the MAS version of 2.8 is missing ... not on the store!

You should still be able to download from your Purchased applications
list for the moment. Waiting on Apple to fix this as well. Apple has
not made my life easy this last week! ;)

This worked for me, also; removed receipt file as described in email and support page, found app store version 2 under purchases (not found just searching), installed, it worked, tried non-sandboxed v.2, got prompted for update to v.3 and did that before my 30 seconds was up; now everything works as it should.
(F, that's what comes of slacking off, I said, blaming the victim.)

As of the last time I checked, MultiMarkdown Composer is finally back in the App Store.
Apple's legendary ease of use does not extend to the App Store.... ;)
