should I
reinstall OS X 10.10.2?

content.

So MMD is sort of sticking with "minimalist" formatting.

Composer's table handling is designed around people who want
tables that look like tables. Hitting tab inserts tab and a pipe.
Columns line up. Autoformatting keeps things consistent.

In this case, it's just trying to stay out of your way.

Lack of spaces happens when I use Stackedit on a Chromebook to
edit the
files. I was in a habit of using MMC to Clean Up the tables
afterwards but
when I get busy the Clean Up is put off.

I like how MMC formats the tables bcs they are readable without
using
Preview. I know an iOS version of MMC is in the works but if you
have a
better mobile solution than Stackedit in the meantime, please let
me know.

I find that the tables are much easier to read in MMDC,
and they don't require monospaced fonts (though you can if you
like.) After doing this for MMD 1, I discovered elastic tabstops
and found that they are great for just about anything.

If you've never read this, it's worth a minute:

PS> The cleanup table command will now (3.0b18) also insert
the leading space after a pipe if you left it out (e.g.

|foo
->
| foo
). This will make this
even easier.
