Jump to footnotes in a PDF
Apologies for the silly question but..:
first thing I did after installing MMC was to play with the "Sample Multimarkdown Document" that comes with app and export it to a PDF.
In the PDF, clicking on a footnote placeholder in the text doesn't jump to the footnote as it happens in the preview (or in a HTML exported doc); instead it opens the original plain text file in Safari.
Going through an intermediate HTML export doesn't help.
What am I missing?
Thanks.

When you print to a PDF (e.g. via HTML), there is no ability to support links within the document, only external links (e.g. to a website)
If you want a PDF with internal links, you'll need to go through LaTeX.
