Indenting blocks of code seems to work sometimes, and delete text other times.
I have a document with sections of code in it. When I select the text, which may be anywhere from 1 to 200 lines of code, I notice that sometimes I can simply hit tab and it indents the entire selection of text, which is what I want. Still, other times I select text and hit tab the text is deleted. Is this a bug or is this caused by something I am doing?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Regards,
Brandon

Edit->Move->Shift Left/Right/Up/Down is the proper way to indent/outdent.
It looks there is a bug that sometimes allows tab to indent a selection --- i need to track down whether that is in my code, or something provided by the OS.
Tab will indent if there is no selection, but should replace the selection otherwise. I can intermittently reproduce this and should fix for the next release.
