Left edge of screen

I am sure there is an obvious setting for this, but I am missing it: I would text to appear at the left edge of the screen, i.e. for there not be a gap between the left edge of the screen and the start of the text.

I have tried different style sheets, changed padding in Preferences/Appearance etc but none change this.

   Victor,

   Thanks for writing in. I suggest looking at the preferences and
   clicking on the "?" help button to learn a bit more about the various
   settings. Additionally, the knowledge base portion of the support web
   site has a lot of information.

   In your case, you probably need to look at the line length setting.

   Thank you for the response, but I have read the instructions and tried adjusting the settings, including the line length. I have restarted MMC, open and closed the file and nothing will remove the left margin.

   If the MMC window does not fill the whole width of the screen then the text is against the left margin. But as the MMC window is increasing made more wide, the margin increases. In the file I am particularly interested, the table does not reformat so that it is not broken.

   I am using MMC 2.6.9 on OX 10.9.3.

   Some further screenshots are attached.

   Any further help would be gratefully received.

   If your style sheet specifies a line length that will override your preferences.
