Hello,

I just upgraded to Standard (in-app purchase) in the hope that the following was a limitation in the free version. Unfortunately, the problem remains.

MultiMarkdown Compose –> Preferences –> Preview –> Default Preview CSS –> Github

File –> New

Paste some MDD text in the editing pane

Preview pane not initialised with Github (despite View –> Preview CSS having GitHub ticked). Switching to a different Preview CSS (using View –> Preview CSS) works correctly.

Same problem with Pretentious.

Regards,
Radu

I have the same experience. I've set my preferences to preview as Github and none of the windows that open display as GitHub. They will display as GitHub if I switch the preview to a different style and then switch back to GitHub. That is really, really unproductive and annoying.

I'm sorry for the delay in responding -- I had a family emergency to deal with, and I am still trying to get caught back up with everything.

I'm sorry you had trouble with Composer -- A "pre-beta" version of MultiMarkdown Composer 5 is available for testing. It is almost feature complete, and the core text engine has been heavily tested during the beta testing for nvUltra. You will likely find that the new version has fixed the issue you were having, as it has been completely rewritten from scratch with many improvements.

As always, and especially with pre-release software, be careful with your data -- use backups, and verify that saved files match your expectations.

You can download a recent build of the beta here -- https://s3.amazonaws.com/files.multimarkdown.com/composer5/MMDComposer5-2022-03-02.zip

As the program moves into a larger "public beta" and beyond, more information will be available.

    Thanks,

    Fletcher
