The editor's stopped rendering correctly. I can click, type and edit, it's just that the keystrokes are showing up in the edit window. They are reflected in the TOC and the Preview window though. Odd.

Can you check the Console app for any messages from Composer?
Sometimes there can be an exception that doesn't trigger a full crash
but still breaks things. That should show up in the logs.
A restart of the app should fix this.

The only thing I can find appears to be this in the Mac Analytics report…
com.apple.message.signature: MultiMarkdown Composer
com.apple.message.signature2: com.multimarkdown.composer4.mac ||| 4.0.2 (56)

Not usually much helpful in the Mac Analytics Report
Check the top item (e.g. your computer name under "Devices") and Search
for MultiMarkdown Composer. Unfortunately, I can't always get it to
show me all the older messages
I just learned why I had trouble finding what I want. The new Console
does not provide old info, only that since it was launched.
You have to do this in the Terminal (as an administrative user):
sudo log collect --last 1d
This apparently collects the last day.
That creates a ".logarchive" file that can be opened in Console and then
searched to see if there is anything relevant.
(I'm sure you wouldn't but don't send me that file if you do this. 1)
It's too big. 2) No telling what private info might be in there.)
Formatting help /
(switch to plain text)
(switch to Markdown)
You can attach files up to 10MB
