Possible to insert an image while maintaining sequential numbered list?

When making a numbered list, I sometimes need to insert an image in between two numbered items (e.g.when writing a procedure with diagrams). When I insert the necessary lines for inserting image, the image appears but the next item begins with 1. Is there a way to work around that? I tried Format > Clean Up > Selected List(s) but it didn't make the adjustment.

By the way, making documents and adding images in MMD Composer is blowing my mind. No more fighting with Word processors shifting text around unpredictably.

    Glen,

    I'm glad Composer is proving helpful to you!!

    As for lists, be sure to think about what you are actually saying:

    * foo

    ![image]

    * bar

    is two lists, each consisting of one item, with an image in between.

    * foo

    ![image]

    * foo

    is one list with two items. The first item has two paragraphs, the second paragraph contains an image. (notice that the image is indented to show that it is part of the preceding list item).

    Hope that helps!
