two or more spaces at end of line

Suppose I write two lines of text, they show on the same line in the preview, as expected.
Then I do a correction: go back to the end of the first line and add two or more space.
I expect the second line to be moved to a new line in the preview, instead they still are on the same line.
It works OK if I put the spaces during the first writing, and not as a correction (i.e first line, two spaces, return, second line).

Is this a bug or what?

The preview does not update when you type a space due to a bug in Apple's code (long story and you don't want me to go into an explanation... ;).

Type a letter and then delete it, and the preview will update.
