Sorry you're having trouble -- I can't replicate this on my machine, and
    haven't heard about it

Can you send me screenshots of your Appearance preferences for Composer,
and General System Preferences (if you're comfortable with that -- I
don't think any of that is particularly sensitive information).

Does it happen if you restart the app? Or only if you change something
    while it's running?

What happens if you type a new line?

    Thank you for your email.

I don’t think I changed anything in the general system preferences. Per your request, I have sent screenshots of my Appearance preferences.

Also attached is a screenshot of what it does when I hit new line.

It happens without changing other preferences in the app. It also happens restart the app too.

    Thank you,

    Stephen Chan

It seems to be related to setting the default zoom to 120% If you
change it to 100%, and then zoom in the screen looks normal.

I'll try to track down the issue for a fix.

I finally found the issue -- there seems to be a bug in macOS 10.14 that affects refreshing the display of NSRulerView.

I found a workaround and it will be in version 4.5, being prepared for release soon.
