"# Heading Text [anchor]" i order to be able to set links to that chapter like "[Label][anchor]".
Is there a reason, these anchors don't show up in the References Panel?

mmdtag:support.multimarkdown.com,2013-02-12:Comment/461077332018-09-19T08:25:10Z2018-09-19T08:25:12ZHeading anchors not in References Panel

I just realized there's in fact no need for that, since headings may be dragged&dropped from the TOC panel in order to insert a link. Nice.

mmdtag:support.multimarkdown.com,2013-02-12:Comment/461077332018-09-19T12:52:12Z2018-09-19T12:52:12ZHeading anchors not in References Panel

Exactly.

I suppose the only thing you can't do it double-click in the TOC to insert, since that takes you the corresponding section of the document. But I think it makes more since to keep the TOC separate from References to minimize clutter.
