It copies the highlighted text from<br>
the editor instead of plain text.</p>
<p>Older versions of Composer also used macOS to convert HTML into RTF,<br>
which worked suitably for very basic examples, but did not work for more<br>
complex structures (e.g. footnotes). Given the low quality of that<br>
option, I have not added it to v4 yet.</p>
<p>I would prefer to find a method that works reliably across all<br>
circumstances. But there is relatively little need across all MMD users<br>
for RTF support, and there is not a good RTF export option. (And my<br>
calls for interested parties to help create one for MMD have gone<br>
unheeded for 5+ years.... ;)</p>
<p>If all you want to do is copy a chunk of RTF to paste into another<br>
application, you can copy a selection from the preview and get the same<br>
result as the old method.</p>
