There's a fix for 10.11 coming soon. There is an Apple bug in older
versions of macOS that was apparently fixed in macOS 10.12 that I didn't
realize I needed to account for.

I just updated to MMC 4.4.1, same thing … :-(

Joachimtag:support.multimarkdown.com,2013-02-12:Comment/453280652018-05-22T13:23:10Z2018-05-22T13:23:10ZLatest version (4.4.0) won't open any files

Don't know if this helps: There are several entries in the system log with the message:

Upgraded to 10.13.5. When running 4.4.1, my files won't open either. But the log message you sent is unrelated (to best of my knowledge and a quick google search).

However, when I run a test build in Xcode, documents open just fine, despite me not changing anything. Even when I revert back to the state when I compiled 4.4.1.

When I build a test build of 4.4.2, it seems to work on 10.13.5 beta, so maybe there was something fixed inadvertently?

Let me know if 4.4.2 doesn't work for you and I'll keep digging.

Thanks!
