<p>Thanks for writing with your comments.</p>
<p>Composer remembers the last position used for each file when it is<br>
closed, including the "Untitled" document used for new windows. If you<br>
want to change the default position for new windows, just change the<br>
window for a new document, and then close it to make sure it is<br>
remembered for subsequent uses.</p>
<p>I'll look at the positioning of the preview when it first loads for the<br>
next release.</p>

<p>Thanks for your quick response.</p>
<p>All problems with opening new MMD documents have now been resolved. Opening the new blank document and then closing it did the trick.</p>
