Hi,
It seems that currently the settings are not persisted. In example, if I open a new document it goes back to the default settings.

    Diethard,

    I'm afraid I don't understand. The default settings *should* be used
    for new documents.

    Which settings are you referring to?

    Thanks!

    Hi Fletcher,

    Say I disable the preview, when I open a doc next time I do not want to see the preview. Basically I should use the settings I last chose. Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Diethard

    Are you sure you disabled the Preview in the *default* settings?

    Main/Home Screen -> Settings -> Preview -> Display Preview

    If you disable the preview there, it will not be displayed whenever you
    open a new document.

    Turning it on/off within a document does not change the default settings.

    This behavior is the same as Composer for macOS.

    Ok, thanks for pointing this out. I only changed it via the wheel icon on the top right. Thanks for clarifying!

    Yes -- the gear icon applies to the currently open document only.
