Typing in an existing document forces the line to the top of the screen

Running beta 14 on OSX 10.12.6. I have Typewriter Height set to 0; I tried leaving it blank, but it then defaulted back to 0.5, so I set it back to 0.

I opened an existing document, clicked in a line toward the middle of the screen, and typed a character. The document immediately shifted such that the line where I was typing was moved to the top of the MMD window.

I don't want typewriter mode. I don't want the text moving on me while I'm typing. What setting to I need to use to accomplish that?

Just turn off Typewriter Mode in the menu bar.

I thought that's what the Typewriter height was doing. Done. IMO, that should really not be defaulted to on.

Typewriter height changes just that -- the target height (as fraction of total height).

None of this has changed in the 5+(?) years that Typewriter mode has been used in Composer.

Which doesn't help those of us who don't use MMD.

Gutsy using a new beta of an unfamiliar app -- good for you!! Look forward to more feedback from new users!
